Anders Hamilton (b. 1992, Everett, WA) was raised in Fargo, ND, he currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. His obelisk sculptures are composed of a variety of materials including ceramics, glaze containing rare earth elements, wood, found twigs, leaves and flowers. Hamilton received his BFA from the University of Minnesota (Minneapolis, MN) in 2015. His work has recently been shown at Alexander Gray Associates (Germantown, NY), Giovanni’s Room (Los Angeles, CA), Mother Gallery (Manhattan, NY), and the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum (Ridgefield, CT).
